New Delhi, 05 July 2025: In a student-friendly initiative, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Study Centre at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel College, Bhabhua (Kaimur district headquarters), has introduced convenient services to make the IGNOU admission 2025 July session and study process smoother. Aspiring and current students can now fill out their admission and re-registration forms online directly at the centre. This ensures a hassle-free experience without the need to travel elsewhere or face technical difficulties.
In addition to this digital facility, IGNOU has also started a book delivery service for enrolled learners. Once students select their study materials, the postal service dispatches and delivers the books straight to their homes. This step aims to support distance learners, especially those from rural and remote areas, by making quality education more accessible and convenient. The initiative is likely to benefit a large number of students who are pursuing higher education through IGNOU in the region.
Many students, especially from rural areas, find it difficult to fill out online forms. To solve this issue, IGNOU has arranged trained staff at over 69 regional centers and more than 2,000 study centers across the country. These staff members guide students through every step of the admission process. To learn about all IGNOU regional centers, visit: www.ignou.ac.in
At the support centers, students will get help with:
- Creating a login ID
- Filling out personal and academic details
- Uploading required documents and photos
- Choosing the course
- Making online payment
The staff at the centers will also explain how to create the necessary DEB ID, which is needed to complete the admission form. After all the steps are completed, students will receive a confirmation message and email with a copy of their application.
This new service has already helped many students. A student from a small town said, “I had trouble filling out the form online. But the support center staff guided me and helped me complete everything in just one visit.” These centers are making the process much easier. This is especially helpful for students who don’t have access to a computer or the internet at home.
IGNOU officials said this step will make sure that no student is left out due to digital or technical issues. Students interested in UG, PG, diploma, or certificate courses can visit their nearest centre and complete the process before 15 July 2025. With this move, IGNOU continues to make education more accessible and student-friendly, combining online technology with personal support.
