IGNOU June 2025 Term-End Exams Begin….

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has officially commenced the June 2025 Term-End Examinations (TEE) from 12 June 2025. The authorities rescheduled the exams—originally scheduled to begin on 2 June 2025—due to technical reasons. The revised exam window will now run from 19 June 2025 to 19 July 2025, with examinations conducted in two shifts: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, across designated centres nationwide.

These examinations are being held for students enrolled in both Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programmes. The last date for submitting the exam form was 28 April 2025, though IGNOU had extended the deadline to 4 May 2025 with a late fee. Eligible candidates were able to download their admit cards starting 4 June 2025 via the official Samarth portal https://ignou.samarth.edu.in/.

To appear for the exams, students must carry a printed copy of their hall ticket along with a valid photo ID. The authorities will not allow entry into the examination hall without these documents. They do not permit the use of electronic devices such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators.

In addition to the theory exams, IGNOU has released a revised date sheet for practical examinations, which will begin from 21 July 2025 and continue until 8 September 2025. IGNOU will conduct these practical exams for various diploma, certificate, and postgraduate programmes. The complete practical schedule is available on the university’s official website.

To ensure smooth preparation, IGNOU has also extended the deadline for the submission of IGNOU assignments, project reports, dissertations, and internship files to 30 April 2025. These submissions are mandatory for eligibility to appear in the respective exams.
